2009 EDITION CANCELLED
Due to only 2 teams showing an interest in participating in the 2009 edition. Neither team had registered prior to the deadline of June 14th 2009. Good luck in other tournaments. We will start planning for the 2010 edition in January 2010.
Number of League plays are determined by the number of teams entering into the League and upon good communication.
Please report to the coordinator as soon as possible to lock the dates.
INSTRUCTIONS
Deadline for registration is June 14th (passed) 2009.
Teams will be asked to host League play on a rotation schedule with one League play in each district: Gainesville, Tampa and Orlando. Indoor preferred.
Results
Ultimate goal:
Each team will compete in its division with round robin play. Upon end result of each League play the bottom of the Premier division will play the following League play in the 1st division. The winner of the 1st Division will play the following League play in the Premier Division. Or to be determined by number of teams entered.
Registration
Each team needs to be registered with USWP and all players need to show proof of current membership at time of play. Liability waivers will need to be signed by players or parents.
Registration fee is $450 per team, for all 3 League plays, non refundable upon start of competition, or negotiated upon number of teams entered and possible indoor pool cost. Refundable if League is cancelled. More then one team from one registrered club is allowed.
Registration fee will pay up to $250 to host team for pool rental upon receipt.
Registration fee will cover cost of referees during League play.
Registration fee will pay for trohpy and medals (14).
Championship
At the end of the 3rd League play, the Central Florida Water Polo Champion will be the leader in the Premier League. Associated trohpy and medals will be given out after the last competition.
